Mark Greenwood is founder of Ultimate Wellness, LLC and developer of The Ultimate Wellness Lifestyle and The Ultimate Body BLAST. He is recognized as one of the premier medical fitness professionals in the Philadelphia area. As a physical therapist, massage therapist, strength and conditioning specialist, certified nutrition coach, and youth fitness specialist, Mark has acquired a unique set of skills that has allowed him to work with a client base and achieve results unmatched by any other in this region.

Mark has been a current resident of Havertown, PA for 16 years. He has been married to his wife Kristin for 15 years. Together they have 3 wonderful children: Emma, Molly, and Jack.
I like to think since it started, at least as "support"! But I have taken a much more active role in the last 2-3 years.
Tell us a little about your professional background
I graduated in 2001 from the University of Scranton with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. I started working at NovaCare Rehabilitation in October of 2001 and continued there full time until my oldest Emma was born. For a few years after that, I worked at NovaCare part time. Since my youngest was born, I have been a full time mom and also help behind the scenes at Ultimate Wellness.
Tell us what you like best about your role on the UW Team?
Being able to set my own schedule so that I am available whenever needed for the kids. Working with a fun, amazing group of people.
Tell us a little bit about your personal life
I have 3 awesome kids- Emma, Molly and Jack- and a wonderful husband. There is nothing I love more than spending time with them. I also love to read, bake, and travel- especially to the beach! Sea Isle City is my favorite place to be :)
What is your least favorite BLAST exercise?
Bear crawls
What is your most favorite BLAST exercise or what's your favorite part about a BLAST workout?
It's hard to pick one, because I love that a half hour of BLAST can work on multiple things- cardio, strength, balance, etc. If I had to pick one, I guess I would say....push ups. Like working on those upper arms!
Tell us about 1 of the UW Core Values that means something special to you or that you identify most with?
Family, friends, fellow man. Family is the most important thing in my life. I love that UW makes them an absolute priority. And I love helping other people, being involved in the community.
How long have you been a member of the Ultimate Wellness Team?
I’ve been working with UW for a little over a year but I’ve been a “Blast-er” for years!
Tell us a little about your professional background
Earned a BSN, MSN from Villanova University. Worked as RN at Lankenau Hospital prior to being a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. Now starting a job in Cardiology at Bryn Mawr! NASM certified personal trainer
Tell us what you like best about your role on the UW Team?
What I like best about my role with UW: interacting and getting to know clients who share the same goals for their health and who also inspire and motivate me to stay fit.
Tell us a little bit about your personal life
I am married and blessed with two beautiful sons. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love a good book and a large glass of wine. My favorite time of the year is summer - usually, you’ll find me outside in the sun, at the pool or the beach, playing with my kids, swimming, running, strolling. Sleeping is another favorite hobby of mine ??

Tell us a little about your professional background
I have 30 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer. I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, homecare, and industrial rehabilitation. I am also currently employed by Main Line Health and responsible for providing therapy services to the students and faculty at Saint Joseph’s University.
Tell us what you like best about your role on the UW Team?
Helping members conquer obstacles that have been holding them back and helping members figure out modifications to exercises that give them difficulty.
Tell us a little bit about your personal life
I am married and have 3 children ages 22, 17, and 15 and resides in Springfield. The O’Briens love dogs and have an 11 year old rescue Boxer named Thunder.
