My physical condition and endurance have improved with exercising. I also believe my core is stronger.

Come and try it. There are all levels of fitness at the lab. Mark provides great routines for you to use and you are your greatest competition! There is no judging, just everyone working out together challenging themselves.

Before joining the Ultimate Body BLAST program, what was your struggle? What were your biggest frustrations?

**Frustrations were just that I was continuing to do the same exercise routine (walking) and expecting different results which was just not happening.

How did your struggles and frustrations affect your life? What did you feel like before?

**Frustrations just lead into depression (not in the clinical sense) but just coming home exhausted from work, sitting on the couch night after night and feeling just flat out blah but continuing to do it night after night.

How did your originally find out about Ultimate Wellness?

** My sister Bernadette went to you for PT and you mentioned the BLAST program

What made you decide to come out and give the BLAST program a try?

** Because of just feeling blah as listed above-I knew I needed to change a few things up-just needed some direction.

What about BLAST, the L.A.B., or Mark was different from other programs, gyms, or coaches you worked with in the past?

** This is the only program I have ever tried (other than some yoga classes). It's very evident that you TRULY do believe in the program and TRULY do care about us blasters and our well being (probably more than we do about ourselves!!). You have a way to push and get the best out of everyone but you do it in a non-aggressive sort of way.

How did the BLAST program help you/your family?

** I feel like it gives me something to look forward to either before and/or after work. It's given me more energy and I always feel HAPPY/STRONG when I leave.

How is your life different now?

** See above

If you referred us to a friend, what would you say about BLAST, the L.A.B., or Mark's coaching?

** Exactly everything that I listed above. It's crazy to me that it only takes 1/2 hour but I get sooooooooooo much out of it (both physically and mentally). It's a great crew of people.No one thinks they are better than anyone else there. It's not a gym where people go to be seen. Everyone does each station at their own pace with assistance from you on how to improve

Are you currently getting the best experience in your mind? If not, what type of changes would you like to see or what ty pe of additional services would you like to have access to that might create a better experience for you?

** I think so-although I always feel like there can be some improvements. But like anything some days you can go a little harder than others.

What is the biggest challenge you currently face at this time and what is the result you want to see asap?

** I'm a blaster for life. I LOVE the positiveness that I'm getting out of it and want to continue to build on that great energy to see how far I can take it.

I joined Ultimate Wellness in November 2013. I enjoy BLAST over other exercise alternatives because I get a full body workout without having to think about it. Mark strategically plans out each class in order for us to get the maximum benefit possible. He is always there to answer questions, push me to work harder and motivate me when I need it. I have never been a morning person, but since going to BLAST I have found a new appreciation for morning workouts. I lost 50 pounds by going to BLAST 3 times a week and participating in the many wellness challenges that Mark provides throughout the year. I couldn’t be happier! I am an Ultimate Wellness member for life!!

I joined Ultimate Body BLAST like everyone else to lose weight and get into better shape and have been a member for 1 year. I enjoy the different variety of challenging exercises at each session, with the focus on an overall total body workout. The other nice thing is that each workout is only 30 minutes so you’re in and out in 30 and can be finished for the day.

The transformation that I am most proud of is the fact that I lost 40lbs. I went from 225lbs to 185lbs. I am down 4 inches in my waist, and down a shirt size. The majority of this occurred in about 6 months, and I have been able to maintain this over the past 6 months. Also, through the Ultimate Wellness programs, I have been able to overhaul my diet, and with this combination I have more energy, better sleep patterns, and I am in overall better health. Prior to starting the program, I was taking prescription medication for gastric reflux and asthma. Over the last 9 months, I have been symptom free without any medication. I have a strong family history of heart disease, and my recent lab work from my family doctor revealed my cholesterol and triglycerides are at the lowest in 5 years.

I think Mark’s experience with physical therapy/rehab and sports conditioning makes this program stand out. He can design a program for all age groups and fitness levels, and still keep it in a group form. He continues to educate himself on the newest recommendations for health and fitness in which he incorporates into the program. I have recommended family and friends already and will continue to do so. As a health care practitioner myself, I have referred patients to him not only for rehab for injuries but also for nutrition and fitness programs. I would like other people to experience the success that I have gone through to ultimately live a longer healthier life.

I was a college athlete with an orthopedic black cloud over my head. I had 3 knee surgeries, 3 foot surgeries and shoulder reconstruction. I joined Ultimate BLAST knowing I have to stay active and it was one of the best decision I’ve made. I was first introduced to Mark through a neighbor that was a member of his 3 day a week Ultimate Body BLAST program. I was at first “peer pressured” into going 🙂 I began his program on the trial period and by the end of 4 weeks – I was hooked! In just that short amount of time I saw subtle changes in my body and the positive effects of how I was feeling. I am an insanely busy person; I run an upscale restaurant, keep up a household, and love my family of 2 little girls and husband. I joined the BLAST program almost two and a half years ago because I felt that the gym was no longer helpful for me. The thing that I enjoy most is that we work on different muscles through each station. Every four weeks the routine is changed to work on other muscles, which is very beneficial. The benefits I see is that my body is firmer and I have lost inches as well as losing weight. When I was attending the gym for almost a year I only met with the instructors once, they showed me all the machines and I never saw them again. With the Ultimate Body BLAST Program, Mark is there to help you every step of the way compared to attending a gym. Mark will come over to you and correct what you are doing as to not damage another area of the body. He will explain how to do it again as well as what area of the body could be damaged if you don’t do it correctly. Mark also checks in with you if you haven’t made it to a couple sessions just to make sure all is okay, compared to the gym where no one notices if you attend or not. I would recommend the BLAST program because I feel there is more accountability. Mark cares about you as an individual, as a person and cares about your personal goals!

I have been with the Ultimate Body BLAST Program for approximately 3 years. I joined the program because I had heard that people loved it and had great results. What I enjoy the most is not necessarily the results, but how good I feel each day I go to BLAST. I go early in the a.m. and the main benefit I have seen is the amount of energy I have during the day. Mark is a wonderful trainer!! He is patient and kind and works with each and every person in the session. If any of us is having any type of physical concern, he works with us and modifies each and every exercise. I would rather go to BLAST over other workout classes because it isn’t too easy, but isn’t too hard either. You can go at a pace that is challenging for you. I could get a personal trainer but would be paying a lot more. BLAST gives me the personal training feel at a much more affordable price. Plus, Mark really cares about you and your progress and the rest of the people in the group are great too. I never feel intimidated. It’s a great environment.
