I joined Ultimate Wellness in November 2013. I enjoy BLAST over other exercise alternatives because I get a full body workout without having to think about it. Mark strategically plans out each class in order for us to get the maximum benefit possible. He is always there to answer questions, push me to work harder and motivate me when I need it. I joined Ultimate Body BLAST like everyone else to lose weight and get into better shape and have been a member for 1 year.
I enjoy the different variety of challenging exercises at each session, with the focus on an overall total body workout. The other nice thing is that each workout is only 30 minutes so you’re in and out in 30 and can be finished for the day.
The transformation that I am most proud of is the fact that I lost 40lbs. I went from 225lbs to 185lbs. I am down 4 inches in my waist, and down a shirt size. The majority of this occurred in about 6 months, and I have been able to maintain this over the past 6 months. Also, through the Ultimate Wellness programs, I have been able to overhaul my diet, and with this combination I have more energy, better sleep patterns, and I am in overall better health. Prior to starting the program, I was taking prescription medication for gastric reflux and asthma. Over the last 9 months, I have been symptom free without any medication. I have a strong family history of heart disease, and my recent lab work from my family doctor revealed my cholesterol and triglycerides are at the lowest in 5 years.
I think Mark’s experience with physical therapy/rehab and sports conditioning makes this program stand out. He can design a program for all age groups and fitness levels, and still keep it in a group form. He continues to educate himself on the newest recommendations for health and fitness in which he incorporates into the program.
I have recommended family and friends already and will continue to do so. As a health care practitioner myself, I have referred patients to him not only for rehab for injuries but also for nutrition and fitness programs. I would like other people to experience the success that I have gone through to ultimately live a longer healthier life.

I was first introduced to Mark through a neighbor that was a member of his 3 day a week Ultimate Body BLAST program. I was at first “peer pressured” into going 🙂 I began his program on the trial period and by the end of 4 weeks – I was hooked! I joined the BLAST program almost two and a half years ago because I felt that the gym was no longer helpful for me. The thing that I enjoy most is that we work on different muscles through each station. Every four weeks the routine is changed to work on other muscles, which is very beneficial. The benefits I see is that my body is firmer and I have lost inches as well as losing weight. When I was attending the gym for almost a year I only met with the instructors once, they showed me all the machines and I never saw them again. With the Ultimate Body BLAST Program, Mark is there to help you every step of the way compared to attending a gym. Mark will come over to you and correct what you are doing as to not damage another area of the body. He will explain how to do it again as well as what area of the body could be damaged if you don’t do it correctly. Mark also checks in with you if you haven’t made it to a couple sessions just to make sure all is okay, compared to the gym where no one notices if you attend or not. I would recommend the BLAST program because I feel there is more accountability. Mark cares about you as an individual, as a person and cares about your personal goals!

I have been with the Ultimate Body BLAST Program for approximately 3 years. I joined the program because I had heard that people loved it and had great results. What I enjoy the most is not necessarily the results, but how good I feel each day I go to BLAST. I would rather go to BLAST over other workout classes because it isn’t too easy, but isn’t too hard either. You can go at a pace that is challenging for you. I could get a personal trainer but would be paying a lot more. BLAST gives me the personal training feel at a much more affordable price. Plus, Mark really cares about you and your progress and the rest of the people in the group are great too. I never feel intimidated. It’s a great environment.

A few things about Ultimate Wellness- I have be going to Mark’s programs for about 4 years now. I started with a neighbor, who I walked with, and decide to pick it up a bit.
I have two boys and they need a healthy Mom who can keep up, so it was time for me to get fit. I have done many different challenges that Mark offers and always get results when my head is in the game.
I enjoy the atmosphere. It’s not a big gym (not a fan of that). Everyone is always friendly, it is a good work out and is over before you know it.

The Ultimate Body BLAST is the best fitness program I’ve ever participated in, and I have exercised for most of my life. I like that there are early morning classes available, so I am able to get my workout in and over with before I start the rest of my day. Mark is tremendous, not only is he excellent at what he does with his classes as a certified personal trainer, but he is also a practicing physical therapist, and he helps you manage all the aches and pains that go with everyday life, as well as any that arise from exercising. It’s like having your own personal physical therapist available to you, and he’s very generous with his time and talents.
